Summer Camps and Special Events!

Our summer session is in full swing, and the dancers are having a blast!

In June:

· We opened registration for the 23-24 season on June 1, and we are so excited for next year’s classes!

· Ten of our advanced dancers participated in the Bald Ballerina “No One Can Survive Alone” concert, along with Mr. Sam Buchanan and Miss Kenzie DuMars. It was a fabulous concert!

· Our acro dancers did an amazing job with their Acro Exams! Everyone passed, and a number of dancers earned Distinction medals.

· Our Drop-in classes are under way, and the dancers are having so much fun!

· Our June camps included Vacation Camp, Adventure Camp, and two weeks of Afternoon Intensives.

· Our Comp Team Nationals dancers had terrific performances at BTS New Jersey, and are now packed and on their way to the DMA National Convention in Atlanta!

What’s Next for our Dancers:

· During the DMA National Convention, Liberty Houldsworth and Tucker Kiska will be competing in the Petite & Master Dance Title Competition. Eliana Bergman, Madelyn Kiska, and

Sophie McKenzie are all participating in the Jazz Intensive. A number of dancers are competing in Open Scholarships, and thirteen of our Comp Team dancers will be training and competing throughout the week! Best wishes to all the dancers!

· July is a big month for our summer programs! Both Magical Musical Adventure and our Summer Intensive will be happening in July. Enrollment for MMA is already closed, but we have 11 spaces left in our Summer Intensive, which will feature Densil Adams, Sam Buchanan, Ashley Canterna-Hardy, Caitlin Cantrell, Victoria Endicott, and Ryan Sheehan.

· For our younger dancers, July also includes Best Friends Camp, Princess Camp, and our Mini-Intensive! Older dancers are invited to join our Dancers Performance Projects Camp. It’s going to be a fun-filled month of summer events!

As we wrap our 31st season and begin designing the curriculum for Season 32, we have some exciting new programs to share! I’ll go live on Facebook later this month to share the details. I look forward to telling you all about it!
